An bhfuil fonn ort a bheith i d’aisteoir ar an stáitse le comhlacht spreagúil?

Más tá, tá aisteoirí nua á lorg ag Fíbín.

Is é príomhaidhm Fíbín Teo ná amharclannaiocht trí Ghaeilge atá tarraingteach, mealltach agus spreagúil do chách a chur ar fáil don lucht féachana.

Faoi láthair tá Fíbín i mbun réamhléirithe do thrí seó atá maoinithe ag an gComhairle Ealaíon: Dráma Nua le Philip Doherty, Seó faoi Sheoil le Philip Doherty, An Triail le Máiread Ní Ghráda.

Sprioc mhór amháin atá ag Fíbín i mbliana ná ár liosta do Aisteoirí le Gaeilge a chur le chéile. Mar gheall ar impleachtaí COVID 19, seachas eisteachtaí beo a reáchtáil, tá muid ag tápú an deis Féinthaifeadaí a ghlacadh, chun seans a thabhairt do gach aon aisteoir le gaeilge taispeántas a chur le chéile ar théip dhúinn.

Critéir an Fhéinthaifeadta:

Monológ trí Gheailge a thaifead.
Véarsa agus cúrfá d’amhráin do do rogha féin, i mbéarla nó i ngaeilge, a léiríonn raon do ghlóir, a thaifead (más bainteach)
Véarsa agus cúrfa d’amhráin do do rogha fhéin a sheinm (más bainteach)
Taispeantas gairid do do scileanna púipeadóireachta (más bainteach)

Cuir aitheantas agus eolas ag tús an Féinthaifeadta( é scríofa nó labhartha)

Fíbín’s objective is to present Irish Language Theatre to a mass audience in an engaging, inviting and visually exhilarating way.

We are currently in pre-production for several Arts Council Funded plays being produced by Fíbín this year: Dráma Nua le Philip Doherty, Seó faoi Sheoil le Philip Doherty, An Triail le Máiread Ní Ghráda. All productions will be a visual spectacle in keeping with the ethos of Fíbín. Although Covid 19 is having an impact on dates of said productions, we hope and aim to have all productions running in 2020.

One of the main objectives of Fíbín this year is to expand our ‘ Aisteoirí le Gaeilge/Actors with Irish‘ list. Due to the unforeseen circumstances of COVID 19, we are taking the opportunity to request Self Tapes. This initiative gives performers with Irish an opportunity to showcase their varied talents.

As you will see from the list below, we are fundamentally looking for actors. However, if you have the ability to sing, puppeteer, or play an instrument, we would love to see a short presentation of these skills also.

Criteria for Self -Tape:

A short monologue in Irish. We are willing to accept any Irish language monologue of your choice
A verse and chorus of a song of your choice, in English or Irish, whichever best shows your strength and range ( if applicable)
A verse and chorus played on an instrument (if applicable)
A short presentation of puppetry skills ( if applicable)

Ident from each participant and agent’s name and contact details ( either written at the beginning of the self tape, or spoken)
If using your phone for the Self tape please shoot in Landscape not Portrait.
Please make sure you are well lit with as plain a background as possible, as not to detract from your performance.

*When performing Self Tapes please remember that you are performing for visual theatre and not TV/FILM. Please frame your acting audition as a MID SHOT (from head to waist)
